 An unopened (Still sealed in factory shrink wrap) 1966 Beatles "Butcher" Record Album selling on eBay, fetched a final bid of $26,099 on January 12, 2010.
The 1966 Beatles "Butcher" (album) cover was used in an early release of "Yesterday and Today". The album's highly desired by Beatles memorabilia collectors due its controversial image of John, Paul, Ringo, and George on the cover. (See photo) The controversy surrounding the image led to most albums being recalled, which makes this particular album cover very scarce.
