Antique 'Inflatable' Helmet Fetches $24k

This rare antique 'inflatable' football helmet, fetched $24,700, selling on eBay. (see auction).

The helmet, was a Spalding Inflatable Helmet, was patented in 1903. The antique helmet was stated by the seller as; "probably not used", due to; "no sweat staining to the interior".
