(Source: WhatSellsBest.com) - This mint condition vintage Burton Snowboard fetched a final bid of $11,211 on eBay.
The Snowboard, described by the seller as a BB1 Londonderry made between 1978 and 1979 (Burton Company History), appeared to have never been ridden and in absolutely perfect condition.
The seller also stated; "(This is) Literally The Holy Grail of collectable snowboards. This board was hand made in Londonderry Vermont by Jake himself and was pulled from his personal archives and sold for a charity event."
The auction received 29 bids from 13 bidders over the course of 5 days. The eBay view-counter recorded over 3600 visitors to the listing. The auction ended Monday March 25, (2012) at 5:26pm Pacific Standard Time.
